Biography
Professor Filippo Crea graduated from Pisa Medical School with full honours in 1977 and passed the Postgraduate Boards in both Pulmonary and Cardiovascular Diseases, again with full honours, at Pisa Medical School in 1980 and 1983 respectively. He is Director of the Department of Cardiovascular Sciences and Director of the Postgraduate School in Cardiology at the Catholic University in Rome. He is author of more than 700 publications on peer reviewed journals. He is International Associate Editor of “the European Journal of Cardiologyâ€, member of the Editorial Board of “Circulationâ€, “Clinical Cardiology†and “Revista Espagñola de Cardiologiaâ€.
