Biography
Peifeng Li obtained his PhD from the Chinese Academy of Medical Science and worked as a medical researcher at the Max-Delbruck-Center, Germany. He is currently a Research Assistant Professor at the College of Medicine, University of Illinois at Chicago, USA. His research focuses on the molecular regulation of heart failure. He is one of the pioneer researchers in deciphering the role of microRNAs in heart diseases. He has published more than 75 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as a reviewer for more than 50 scientific journals. He has served on the American Heart Association grant panel.
